She inherited the school’s Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) but felt it required a fresh start. “At the time, the ILT members couldn’t drive progress effectively,” she remembers. Geverola aimed to populate the ILT with adept instructional leaders to chart a strategic course for enhancing student academic achievement.
